Living an ecological lifestyle can be fulfilled both in cities or in the countryside. What is common in the two is that we need to find companion for it.
Human beings are meant to live in communities, we are made social beings by evolution. The „loneliness” that characterises our society was an unknown phenomenon few decades of centuries ago. According to some experts, the reconstuction of communities would be a solution to several social problems such as homelessness, loneliness of the elderly and severe social inequalities.
Our lecturer researches Hungarian ecological communities a decade ago in the frame of the Program of Small Communities (Kisközösségi Program). What are the best practices in Hungary? What are the most important findings of the research?
